Our education mission statement is to encourage all schools in Hertfordshire to fully participate in the Get Set programme and progress to become part of the LOCOG schools network, by identifying and publicising good practice by model schools and offering support in delivering the curriculum.
Get Set is the official London 2012 education programme for schools, college and local authority education providers across the UK.
The Get Set website offers a huge range of opportunities and resources targeted at 3-19 year olds.
You’ll find a whole range of flexible, interactive learning resources designed to get you thinking about the Olympic and Paralympic Values and the London 2012 Games – with games, fact sheets, films, news articles and much more.
Register with the programme to receive access to even more resources and opportunities, a monthly newsletter and the chance to join the Get Set network and be rewarded and recognised for your school/college work.
The network will be made up of learning providers who are demonstrably living one or more of the Olympic and Paralympic Values and are committed to integrating these Values into their whole school development planning and ethos.
