Hertfordshire is Ready for Winners SportsAid makes an attractive, effective sporting charity partner for your business for the following reasons:

  • It promotes strong values of youth, potential, aspiration and performance, all of which have broad, positive, public appeal
  • Your investment in the fund is great value – your donation is charitable, the fund supports the next generation of aspiring World Class athletes from multiple sports, and it is LOCAL to Hertfordshire
  • It works with credible partners
  • It provides the flexibility for you to focus your donation on certain age-groups, sports or geographical area (if required)
  • It has the ability to deliver awards in the partner’s name and to their specification.

Hertfordshire Elite Talented Athlete Programme
In addition to Hertfordshire is Ready for Winners SportsAid, we support an Elite Athlete Support Programme. Talented youngsters from a range of sports receive a package of specialist training and support through a scheme set up to help emerging talent in the county.  Each athlete receives individual nutrition consultations, physiotherapy assessments, individual and small group training sessions with a strength and conditioning coach and performance lifestyle advice.

How will your money and support be used?
Financial donations from businesses, organisations and individuals to Hertfordshire is Ready for Winners SportsAid are vital to its success. Your donations will help to make a difference for the next generation of Hertfordshire Sporting talent as follows:

  • 100% of all money you donate will get to the athletes that need it most.
  • All donations will be “ring-fenced” for Hertfordshire to ensure that the money reaches athletes from within the County
  • Young athletes will receive support and recognition when they need it most and your donation will help the next generation of young British sports people to succeed, across over 40 sports including disability disciplines
  • Although inspired by the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games, we aim to continue it indefinitely as long as funding is available

The importance of this support is highlighted by Dominique Stowell from Rickmansworth, Great Britain Junior Team Member at Fencing who recently received a SportsAid grant:

“Thank you very much for your letter and the enclosed cheque for £250. I am very grateful to SportsAid for awarding me this grant. It goes without saying that the money will be very helpful and I will put it towards my international travel expenses.”

We hope you feel inspired to support us and make a donation to ensure our success. If you have any questions please contact us for a discussion on how we can best meet your needs.
