Registration is open for the FREE ‘Win Business Gold’ business breakfast on Monday 5 December at Paradise Wildlife Park in Broxbourne.
The event is the latest in an award winning series of events arranged by Hertfordshire is Ready for Winners, the county’s official partnership supporting the delivery of the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games. The Business Breakfast event enables delegates to enjoy a cooked breakfast, hear about London 2012 contract opportunities, meet a Paralympic medallist and local young talented athletes, find out about Hertfordshire’s Olympic venue - the Lee Valley White Water Centre, and network with other local business people.
Paralympian Danny Crates, the former T46 arm amputee, 2004 Paralympic Champion, European Champion, Paralympic World Cup winner and world record holder, combined with other speakers will be inspiring local businesses to get themselves ready for the London 2012 Games.
Hertfordshire is Ready for Winners has held a successful business breakfast event at Paradise Wildlife Park before; 62 representatives from 36 businesses attended the event, one business described the event as “illuminating” and “a fantastic opportunity and a wonderful location”. Delegates were also invited to watch the staff at Paradise Wildlife Park perform a health check on one of their tigers after the main event was over.
Chairman of the Hertfordshire is Ready for Winners Board, Derrick Ashley, said, “Our county has maintained the accolade of the highest percentage of businesses registered on CompeteFor in the region, we are proud of this and want to keep the level of engagement up. With the recent London 2012 Olympic Torch Relay announcing that Hertfordshire has the honour of hosting the torch on two days, now really is the time for Hertfordshire businesses to grab the opportunities that the Olympics is brining to the county.”
These free events are very popular so businesses are advised to book as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.
