Open weekend of 24 and 25 July marked two years to go until the start of the 2012 Games. A total of 14 events took place across Hertfordshire, athlete Mark Richardson attended the 'Two years and counting' event in Waltham Cross which included the showcasing of local talent as well as the unveiling of the refurbished Eleanor Cross. On the Sunday Mark attended the Celtic Games at Celtic Harmony and then moved onto to Ofest at Paradise Wildlife Park. Activities there included 'Beat the Pro' competitions, a presentation by the Shaolin Warriors and Mark was interviewed on stage.
