Get Involved - Be Inspired
We want to ensure that everyone in Hertfordshire who has been inspired to volunteer by the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games has the opportunity to do so in their local community.
In Your Local Community…
There is a vast array of opportunities to volunteer in your local community. To find out what you can do locally check out the Do-it website.

For further information and guidance on local volunteering opportunities, the network of Volunteer Centres in Hertfordshire provide valuable support to both volunteers and organisations.
The Sport Makers programme, funded by the National Lottery, aims to recruit tens of thousands of new sports volunteers aged 16 and over to organise and lead community sport activities across the country. Everyone who chooses to become a Sport Maker will be invited by their county sports partnership to come to a workshop and support them to find local opportunities to increase participation in sport.
Other local opportunities
